Founded in Anchorage in 2018, 10 Cups of Tea began with a passion for handmade notebooks and journals. Since then, we've expanded our offerings to include a variety of stationery and paper-related products, all designed to steep beauty into daily life.

My name is Ferchu Waddoups—I'm the graphic designer, illustrator, bookbinder, and owner behind 10 Cups of Tea. I’ve always loved creating things, and taking them apart! I first discovered bookbinding during a college assignment, and it quickly became a passion. The tools, papers, textures, and intricate processes captivated me, and I’ve since dedicated myself to turning simple sheets of paper into works of art.

Since 2020, my daughter Katerina Waddoups, an illustration student, has joined me in 10 Cups of Tea. Her beautiful illustrations now grace many of our products, from notebook covers to postcards and stickers. Together, we bring our love for design, patterns, and colors into everything we create.

In 2024, we moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, and with the help of my new husband, Dave—who is a musician—we're expanding our business in exciting ways. Dave runs an apiary, and we've added honey and beeswax-related products to our offerings. The stunning wildlife, nature, and vibrant colors of Fairbanks now inspire much of our work, enriching the beauty we strive to bring into everyday life. Our business is growing, and creativity is flowing into all kinds of new outlets.

While our focus is on handcrafted books and journals, our shop also showcases original illustrations, which are featured across our range of products. We're incredibly proud of what we've built and the beautiful items we offer.
